NEW APPOINTMENTS AT THE NHQB

Five senior appointments have been announced today, a significant step as the organisation gears up to register developers throughout the year.

Leon Livermore, has been appointed CEO; he was previously CEO of the CTIS for eight years (Chartered Trading Standards Institute) and he starts this month. Livermore is known for his involvement in customer service/consumer affairs.

Replacing Natalie Elphicke OBE as Chair is Rob Brighouse. He has extensive experience gained in the rail sector and has operated at the most senior levels of government. Brighouse is snr. independent director of Network Rail board and will replace Elphicke at the April board meeting. This move is per the announcement last year that Natalie Elphicke would step down as her work was complete having established the board and moved it to being fully operational. She can be credited for helping to create and launch the New Homes Quality Board which aims to deliver a “step change” bringing greater powers of redress for the consumer and re-defining the quality standards expected of the industry.

Three more senior appointments were confirmed also; Naomi Connell joins as an experienced audit committee chair and CFO, Curtis Juman (who has significant financial experience gained at Ofcom) and Paul Price (extensive housing and local government background).
