Over some years, having worked with them at the Spenhill development in Highams Park, After Build and McLaren Construction have forged strong bonds with a will to work on other large schemes in and around the city.
Leading developer Lendlease selected McLaren Construction for their Cambium project, which started in August 2016 and comprises a range of two, three, four and five bedroom homes in Zone 3 with great access to the city. Cambium is just such a scheme and we’re delighted to be providing the customer care service for McLaren in this instance.
With the relocation of the Saint John Bosco College from Victoria Drive to Battersea, this large development of 110 residential properties consists of 55 three and four storey mews-style town houses and a single block of 55 apartments and is located in leafy Southfields, between Wimbledon and Putney, providing much needed residential accommodation within the local area.
A new open space children’s play area will be created at the centre of the site, accompanied by a 200 year old oak tree believed to have been planted by Capability Brown. The works will also include 22 parking spaces in the basement of the apartment block, with additional parking provided in the form of garages, driveways and on the street within the site. Cycle spaces will also be provided, together with a new pedestrian route running east-west along the end of the central green space.
